🏞️ Freestone – Finca La Unica
Toffee • Golden Raisin • Chocolate
Medium-roasted and washed, this approachable micro-lot from the slopes of Mount Tenan offers sweet toffee aromatics and balanced notes of golden raisin and chocolate. Grown at 1,400 meters in Copan, Honduras, Freestone delivers a smooth, medium-bodied profile that's equally comfortable as filter or espresso.
Produced by Leticia Lopez Hutchins—a fifth-generation coffee farmer and trailblazer for women in Honduran agriculture—Finca La Unica has transformed from a cattle farm into fifty acres of shade-grown diversity. It's also Smithsonian Bird Friendly® certified, supporting biodiversity and habitat conservation with every harvest.
Why Freestone? We searched for a coffee that felt like a clear, cool stream—unbound and refreshing. Named after freestone rivers like North Carolina’s Oconaluftee, this coffee flows freely, just like its story.
